1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ScanTrack mobile application ("ScanTrack", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

ScanTrack is a utility application that allows users to scan barcodes and QR codes and synchronize the data directly to their personal Google Sheets. The application requires a Google Account to function and relies on the Google Drive and Google Sheets APIs.

3. User Accounts and Data Ownership

  • Google Sign-In: You must sign in with a valid Google Account to use the synchronization features.
  • Data Ownership: You retain full ownership of all data you scan and synchronize. Your data is stored in your own Google Drive and Google Sheets accounts. ScanTrack does not store your scanned data on our servers.
  • Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Google API Services

ScanTrack's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCANTRACK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
